Scottish Dancin’
Since 2014 Paradise Palms venue in Edinburgh has been nurturing and promoting Scotland’s fertile grassroots music community by providing a welcoming home and free performance space to creatives and performers from multiple disciplines, genres and backgrounds.
Due to Covid, the venue is temporarily shut but through it’s record label Paradise Palms Records they can keep this support running through the fifth release in their annual Bonnie Tropical compilation series of blossoming local talent.
Drawn exclusively from artists based in Edinburgh or Scotland the compilation characterises the diverse musical talent in the area whilst reflecting the label’s (and venue’s) broad and eccentric music policy - melting dance music with indie electronica and ambient and pop into post-punk or even funk.
Bonnie Tropical 5 shares with you 15 of Scotland’s most exciting new artists in a compilation that invites you to both relax and dance on tables. For many of these artists this is their first release and Paradise Palms Records is very proud and honoured to provide that first musical step onto their wobbly dance floor.
