A collection of independent new music

Paradise Palms Records have found a home at the heart of Scotland and the UK’s fertile independent music community and in a short time cultivated a growing underground following for their quirky indie electronica and lazy dance floor anthems.

Nurturing and releasing local talent alongside established acts from further afield the fledgling label has a bright future ahead with this release only its 20th to date (Please see link below for back catalogue).
The Bonnie Tropical series each feature a compilation of new artists with previously unreleased tracks. The music reflects the eclectic ambitions of the label and the eccentric nature of the venue that houses it.

Bonnie Tropical 4 (PP020) features 12 acts and tracks mostly from Edinburgh (UK) or living in or near the city. It offers a bright charismatic journey through modern electronica, experimental dance and the independent music being made in Scotland.

The compilation is released on Friday 24th January just in time for Scotland’s Burns Night celebrations. The records was mastered at Green Door Studios in Glasgow and is distributed by EPM London.

As others have said, this recalls the first hour of Optimo's Sunday nights in Glasgow, which I tried to never miss. It was always possible to enjoy Optimo if you turned up late... but being there for the first hour guaranteed a better night. extra-noir
